As part of today’s CES keynote for the company, NVIDIA GeForce SVP and GM Jeff Fisher very briefly teased a new flagship NVIDIA video card. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti as it’s called appears to be a higher clocked version of the current RTX 3090.
Living up to the idea of a teaser, details on the new card are fleeting for the moment, with NVIDIA showing it off primarily to what the public appetite ahead of a more formal reveal later in January. But for now, NVIDIA is confirming that single precision (FP32) compute performance is 40 TFLOPS, which would be 12% higher than the existing RTX 3090. The teaser also confirms that the card is getting fast memory, with a bump to 21Gbps GDDR6X. And of course, the card still comes with 24GB of the stuff.
And for now, that’s all NVIDIA is telling us! According to the company, we should expect to find out more later this month.

They still use the same chip and memory type as the other nvidia cards.pbollwerk - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
I'm curious why you'd expect a driver for an OS that's not supported by Microsoft anymore.Oxford Guy - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
Probably because the GPU maker has traditionally made the driver and supported products for a longer period.Silver5urfer - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
KB5008244, tell me what you get when you google that KB. And Ampere was supporting Windows 7 until 472.12 driver, Nvidia axed entire Win32 based drivers to Windows 10 only DCH garbage which has a lot of issues and massive bloat.Windows 7 runs 99% of the games on the market and software too only big corpos abandoned because M$ pays them to support newer OSes like Adobe dropped Camera DNG late 2020. And Chrome is probably last which will pull the plug in 2022 or 2023. Plus Windows 7 runs far more stable than a beta WaaS garbage Windows 10 or even more horrendous garbage Windows 11.
It's the best OS that M$ will ever make in the human history. And last one that too. There won't be anymore OSes made for people in mind, all of them simply siphon off data. MS ruined Windows 7 and 8.1 with Cumulative updates infested with telemetry only way to bypass is install Simplix pack for WIndows 7. You get 2021 December update, that's called latest OS and supported by MS.

I'm done with the AIBs, they are no better than the scalpers in my opinion. I have been able to get Founder's Edition cards from Best Buy at MSRP.DigitalFreak - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
LAMO if they actually ship that card with the logo upside down.Alistair - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
nVidia showed off fake benchmarks for the RTX 3050. Didn't impress.Intel showed off: video encoding. Their new gaming GPUs and they showed no benchmarks. Fail.
AMD showed off 3DCache, the world's fastest gaming CPU. AMD showed off the first 6nm laptop CPUs with the world's best x86 battery life. AMD showed off a 2.6Ghz GPU.

Once you get AMD's boot out of your mouth, you'll remember we're all on the same website and that everyone else is aware of what each company actually showed off. I don't even know why you'd waste time lying. This isn't Wccftech.Rezurecta - Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - link
They need to prepare you for the price reveal."A steal at $1999. With our new crypto mining money extraction service we will continue to release highly profitable large silicon GPUs to drive the MSRP of all other GPUs to fatten our margins. This way we can do corporate scalping of our customers." /s

$1999 would be cheap... But maybe first 100 customers can buy 3090ti at that price. The rest will have to buy this at normal price...
